Dr. Gambardella served in the U.S. Army in Germany from 1972 to 1975 as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, attaining the rank of Major.  Prior to attending Tufts University, he taught in the Hamden School System for 2 years.  Dr. “G” has been involved in the training of oral and maxillofacial surgery residents at the Hospital of Saint Raphael for over twenty-five years.  He has for over thirty years been in the private practice of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Hamden and Guilford.

Personal:

Dr. Gambardella is married to the former Jean Sidoli of Hamden, CT.  He has two children, Raymond S. Gambardella and Dr. Lee Gambardella-Mamdani, and five beautiful grandchildren!
